Nearly everyday more research sheds light on the harmful health consequences of dairy consumption in any form. We now appreciate that dairy has harmful insulin effects, is a poor source of calcium and vitamin D and contains the problematic sugar lactose, to name a few.
Cow’s milk has also been linked to type I diabetes, multiple sclerosis, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. Further, dairy contains many hormones that are unnatural for human exposure including, betacellulin (BTC), insulin like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) and estrogens. Nearly 70+ hormones have been identified in dairy products with many containing the natural ability to cross the intestinal membrane. This results in potentially harmful health outcomes upon entering the blood stream. Dairy is considered one of the leading contributing agents in autoimmune disorders and the chronic inflammatory process.
Research also shows that the countries whose citizens consume the most dairy products have the HIGHEST occurence of osteoporosis.
