Ginger Green Tea

To serve, feel free to dilute with up to half water. The stronger the better! This tea will keep in a refrigerator for several days.

Ginger Green Tea


1/2 pound fresh Ginger

5 Green Tea Bags

Large 64 ounce jar


1. Chop ginger, no need to peel, and add to a large saucepan. Fill pan with 64 ounces of cold water and bring to a boil. Cover and let simmer for at least 1 hour.

2. Remove pan from heat and add tea bags, cover pan, and steep for several hours more.

3. Strain water into a 64-ounce glass jar, adding more water if necessary to fill jar.
