This is a great recipe for BBQ Sauce. You can take your own to any restaurant and order your favorite bbq item (like chicken) plain, and use your own sauce that is free from unhealthy additives and sugar.
-1 6 oz can tomato paste ~ 2/3 cup (be sure there’s no sugar added)
-1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
-1 cup water, plus more if necessary
-1 1/4 cup pitted dates
-2 tablespoons mustard
-1 tablespoon coconut aminos
-1 teaspoon celery salt
-2 cloves minced garlic
-1 teaspoon chili powder
-1 teaspoon pepper
-1/4 teaspoon ground clove (or 1 drop therapeutic grade clove essential oil)
-Simply add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and then enjoy your healthy BBQ sauce! Use water to thin it down if you prefer a thinner sauce.
